Cossio

Miriam Cossio is a Mexican entrepreneur recognized for her technological vision. In 2024 she joined LOBBY Dubai a leading company in sustainable water-from-air solutions.

Currently, she is a founding partner of LOBBY Dubai, a company set to become a leader in high-quality atmospheric water generation technology.

With over two decades of experience in finance and administration, Miriam has proven to be a strategic leader in the transformation and growth of multinational organizations within the technology sector. She was appointed CFO of the multinational HITSS in Brazil, where, under her leadership, the company generated $100 million in revenue. She played a key role in designing and implementing internal processes that helped the company overcome significant challenges and achieve sustained growth.

As Chief Financial Officer and Legal Representative, she led the financial restructuring of the company, which initially faced accumulated losses and liquidity shortages. Under her leadership, the company grew from 100 employees to over 3,200, significantly increasing sales and EBITDA. She implemented capitalization strategies that enabled HITSS to participate in key tenders and developed effective cost-control and reduction programs.

Her leadership in coordinating internal and external audits, as well as treasury management, has been crucial in ensuring transparency and operational efficiency.

Among her most notable achievements are tax recovery efforts, the successful implementation of the SAP system and other internal control tools, and delivering consistent financial results that allowed the company to pay dividends to its corporate group and provide loans to other subsidiaries.

Before her role at HITSS do Brasil, she held various senior management positions in multinational companies in Mexico.

She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
